This picture was taken back in March. I flew up to Vancouver, Canada to visit Laura and we spent the day shopping for wedding dresses. 

Laura and I both grew up North of Toronto and met each other in high school ... in King City.

Congratulations Ashlee and John Staroba for bringing little Marian Grace into the world. WOW, I can't believe you guys are parents now. Slumdog Millionaire was nominated for ten Academy Awards and won eight, the most for any film of 2008, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Film Editing, Best Sound Mixing, Best Cinematography, Best Original Score and Best Original Song.

It also won five Critic's Choice Awards four Golden Globes and seven BAFTA Awards including Best Film. Slumdog Millionairehas stirred controversy concerning language use, its portrayals of Indians and HInduism and the welfare of its child actors.
